Trebellar had no in-house video team when it came time to announce its Series A. STMNT stepped in as that team, taking a founder-led film built around CEO Diego Ferreiro Val cooking paella in his own kitchen from first concept to a live public launch.
Trebellar builds AI-native software for corporate real estate teams, and was closing a Series A round it needed to announce well. What it didn't have was any way to produce that announcement itself: no internal video function, no script, no shot list, no production plan, and a fixed public launch date already on the calendar.
STMNT's video production services covered the gap: creative direction, scripting, a full production plan, directing Diego on camera, motion design built from Trebellar's own brand system, editorial judgment through the cut, brand-compliance turnaround, and delivery through launch day. Trebellar supplied the business, the product, and the news. STMNT supplied everything between that and a finished, published film.
STMNT took a loose starting brief and shaped it into a concept: at kickoff, STMNT and Trebellar landed on building the film around Diego's own kitchen ritual, paella as a literal stand-in for "cooking," the word Trebellar's engineers already used internally, and a real connection to the Spanish roots Diego shares with his co-founder David. From there STMNT shaped the script, scoped a single seven-hour shoot day around morning light in Diego's own kitchen, and directed Diego through an unscripted delivery rather than a teleprompter.
Post-production folded Trebellar's product story into the kitchen scene itself: short screen reveals and UI overlays explaining Trebellar's space, people, lease, and cost data problem, instead of a separate demo cut away. STMNT's motion team adapted a Figma design system from Trebellar's own Lead Product Designer, Aglaé, building the type and iconography to move with a handheld, depth-shifting camera instead of sitting flat over it.
Partway through post, STMNT found the cooking visuals were pulling attention off the announcement at a few specific beats. The fix held on Diego longer, delayed the cooking cutaways, and let the overlays carry the harder ideas. STMNT made that call itself, then explained it back to Trebellar directly, including one resulting jump cut it flagged for the client to sign off on rather than let pass unmentioned.
Trebellar's Series A went public on LinkedIn just after 7:00 a.m. Pacific on September 24, 2026, carrying the film Diego made with STMNT. STMNT had shipped final assets about two weeks earlier, on September 11, run a second round of brand-alignment fixes with Aglaé the following week, and delivered caption files the same morning Trebellar asked for them, hours ahead of launch.
The relationship continued before the first film had even launched. Adam Sewall brought a second project to STMNT during the final delivery process, and again on the morning of launch, before Trebellar had any performance data on the first film. For a company with no in-house video team, that's the real evidence the model works: STMNT took a loose kickoff brief and carried it through concept, shoot, edit, brand compliance, and a live public launch, without Trebellar having to build or manage a video function of its own.
STMNT owned the launch video production from kickoff through delivery: developing the concept, shaping the script, planning the shoot, directing Diego, translating Trebellar's design system into motion graphics, managing editorial, handling brand feedback, and preparing final assets for launch.
The shoot itself was a single seven-hour day in Diego's own kitchen, timed to start at 8:30 a.m. for morning light. STMNT delivered the film in two final formats, 16:9 and 4:5, each with and without captions, plus clean archival masters, narrowed down from an original plan that also included a 9x16 vertical cut, dropped once the team judged the crop was compromising the design.
Diego delivered the announcement live and unprompted rather than off a teleprompter, with the product explanation built directly into the kitchen scene rather than a separate demo reel. When Aglaé, Trebellar's Lead Product Designer, sent a round of brand-compliance notes after final delivery, STMNT resolved its own oversights at no charge and turned the rest around by the deadline Trebellar asked for.

You all have been fantastic partners, and we're super pleased with the result. This was by no means an easy concept to pull off, so we're really grateful for your expert guidance throughout the process.
Incredibly proud and happy with the results.
This is amazing! Thank you so much for getting it across the line.
Every project starts with the same question: what does this video need to accomplish, and who is watching it? Not just the format or the deliverable count. What does the person on the other side need to feel or do after watching it? That question shapes every production decision that follows.
For tech and fintech companies, the executives being filmed are rarely professional on-camera presenters. Strong footage depends on how the set is run, on creating an environment where a CTO or product lead can talk the way they actually talk, not the way they sound when they know a camera is on them. That is a creative problem, not a logistics one, and it is something STMNT builds into how every shoot is run.
Trebellar didn't need to build an internal video function for one announcement. STMNT stepped in as its video production partner, owning the creative and production process from kickoff through launch: developing the concept, writing the script, directing the shoot, building the motion graphics, and managing every round of brand feedback. Trebellar supplied the business context and the brand; STMNT handled the media, including the judgment calls, like the one jump cut it flagged to Trebellar directly rather than let pass unmentioned.
The model is straightforward: one producer, one crew, one invoice. STMNT slots into existing workflows without account management overhead, without subcontracted crew the client has never met, and without requiring a new onboarding process every time a different internal team comes into the picture. Senior-level execution from a consistent core team, built in San Francisco since 2018.
