Find out more about what corporate videos are use for.
If you work in marketing at a startup or corporation in San Francisco there’s a pretty good chance that one of your co-workers or superiors has mentioned the word corporate video at some point of your career. It’s a pretty vague term in video production and can mean one or more of the following:
Now, if you’re looking to create a video for your business somewhere in or around the San Francisco Bay Area, you’re at the right place.
We’ve created dozens of corporate videos just in the last year and would like to introduce you to a few different versions of what a corporate video can look like:
The hero of a corporate video as we would say. The 2 minute brand explainer that runs the viewer through everything your company does. It goes above and beyond to highlight all the core information your clients need to know about you. You can find those usually on the homepage of a corporate business´ website.
Here’s a good example of a simple brand image video shot with the founders and other executives of Roc Capital:
A very important part of a corporate video strategy is to educate your customers and or your team internally. Depending on the complexity of your product you need more or less of it but it’s essential to think about it in the long run. We recommend to keep the educational videos on the shorter side to keep up with the attention spans of your viewers. Keep the information to only what needs to be said and don’t swing too far. The easier the better.
We shot a series of educational content for Biossance and their sales agents at Sephora. This serves for new onboarding sales employees or as a refresher for existing agents. Example below:
The larger the business the more hats you wear when it comes to marketing, right? Events are a powerful way to connect with your audience on a local or online live stream level. It’s a goo idea to film the event and create a video with purpose to recap what was happening that day. It is also great marketing for the next even you’re planning. We were able to film Outsidelands festival in San Francisco with Lyfecycle in partnership with Bacardi. The concept was to showcase a new fully biodegradable cup and its usage at a large music festival.
Content content content is the mantra of todays day and age. Yes, it’s true, you need to keep your followers engaged and need to come up with a content strategy. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube are the biggest players in the game and you shouldn’t neglect any of them. How can you up your video advertisements? Nerdwallet reached out to us to shoot a TikTok campaign with them and while we were only there to execute on their vision, it was a great learning experience for us.

As you can see there are quite a few different ways corporate videos can impact your business and they all have relevance in some way. Some of them you might not need at the time and some of them are more urgent to produce. Until next time.
